Juggle, catch & settle
Ball mastery · Receiving & first touch · Balance & coordination · Confidence & creativity
Build balance, tracking, and a soft first touch without pressure.
Why this design: Low, achievable ball contacts develop tracking, posture, and touch softness without turning juggling totals into a status measure. Catching resets the task so every attempt begins with control.
Individual spaces inside a 20 × 20 yard grid
Give each player a ball and at least two arm spans of space from others. Boundary cones are optional: agree clear existing lines or fixed ground landmarks and walk the limits together. Organize 8 players before starting. Give every player a clear movement route. Check every player can move without entering another group's route.

- 2:11 · Add repeat touches: Progress to two touches or thigh-foot-catch at the player’s level. Stay within comfortable control; simplify if space or balance is lost.

Raise a bent thigh toward the ball and relax on contact so the ball rises gently rather than rebounding away.
Allow one ground bounce before the foot contact; this is a valid entry level, not a penalty.
Angle the inside or laces surface and absorb the dropping ball so it lands one step to the side, ready to dribble.
