Plant beside the ball and use the inside of the other foot to cut it across the body into the return route.
Turn the corners
Dribbling · Change direction · Agility & acceleration · Scanning
Rehearse balanced turns and a change of pace while moving into clear space.
Why this design: A destination gives every turn a reason. Players approach, reduce speed, redirect the ball, and accelerate away while still choosing another corner if the original route becomes crowded.
18 × 18 yard square with a small corner gate at each corner
Create four corner gates and start players throughout the square rather than in lines. Organize 8 players before starting. Give every player a clear movement route. Check every player can move without entering another group's route.

- 2:11 · Free choice at walking speed: Players dribble to any corner and turn back into the square. Use one simple action, generous space, and no elimination. Inside each timed phase, offer short repetitions and pauses whenever players need to reset.
- 0:20 · Drink and reset: Offer a drink, demonstrate the next action briefly, and rotate partners or leaders if used. Take more time whenever needed and shorten play.
- 2:11 · Add a coached turn: Coach demonstrates one turn, then players may choose it or another solution. Stay within comfortable control; simplify if space or balance is lost.

Use the outside of the foot nearest the ball to redirect it away from the cone and push into the new lane.
Place the sole on top, pull the ball behind the body, turn the hips, and travel after it.
Shorten the final touch before the gate so the ball is close enough to redirect without lunging.
